The key to inserting Flex Cup is to find a fold and insertion method that works best for you. Using a menstrual cup should be easy, but as with any new period product, it can take a little practice to master the technique!
How to insert Flex Cup:
First and always, wash your hands! It’s a good idea to refresh your cup, too, by cleaning it with warm water and a mild soap or cleanser (like Flex Foaming Cleanser).
Next, fold your cup (check out our favorites here).
Once you find a fold, insert your cup into the vaginal canal as high or low as you'd like.
Run your finger between the cup and your vaginal wall to make sure it’s popped open all the way.
You’re all set! Some users will do some squats or shimmy to make sure the cup is in place.
How to remove Flex Cup:
Thoroughly wash your hands.
Sit on the toilet or, if this is your first time, you can also opt to remove your cup in the shower.
Slowly pull down on the patented pull-tab to break the suction.
Once the cup is within reach, grab the base of the cup to remove it the rest of the way.
Finally, empty your cup into the sink or toilet and wash it with a mild soap or cleanser before re-inserting.
